Adblock Plus and Ghostery will block it all.

One day I had this pop up multiple times. And I don't go to porn sites so I find it funny that it popped up on me. This told me it was BS.

It just stopped. I haven't seen it again. I'm not good with this techno stuff so I showed it to my son-in-law and he believes sigtalk got hacked and that's someone fishing for info to gain access to my phone/computer.

It seems to be around the time all the avatars and now a lot of the attachments/pics are gone. I don't know.

I've gotten it as well, usually get it when I use the "back" key and thus far only on my phone.

within bookmarks you may have a bookmark manager that can save them as an html file, then import them when you re-do the browser.

+1 for adblock plus

You might also try the Brave browser, I have had good experience with that.

These type of websites have automatic ad's that recirculate randomly, many have popups and malware scripts in them. Run free version of malwarebytes from a trusted source like CNET.com and at least get Adblock +.

I never see ads with Adblock plus and Ghostery but it can block some desirable content and certain videos on certain websites.

Hey,

The next time you see these pop up ads, we'd need the following:

1.What device you're using.
2.The OS/browser you're using.
3.Your general location.
4.The URL of the ad, you can get this by right clicking the ad and clicking "copy link address". You can also click "inspect" and copy the highlighted text.
5.Screen shot

Once we get that we can send it to our tech team and get them to investigate. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When that popped up on me I couldn't even go back to the sig forum. I had to shut down the browser and reopen sigtalk. I was on my iPhone and it happened multiple times. It took over and all I could do was click off the browser. Also I was using safari.
