The simple "fix" for using a tablet (or any mobile device) is to switch the site view to "Mobile Style" located in the very bottom left of any page.
That cures the issue reported by KenBry. I've tried it on both an iPad and iPhone and it works fine.

vBulletin should have an "image tamer" option some where.
I moderated a few boards, it always hits me how many guys can't edit their own pics, there is a native image editor (Paint) built into their operating system! and free editing software available such as IrfanView.
I always run pics through photo shop to resize and squish em so the file is small and also remove the exif data.

This is an image hosted on imgur with a resolution of 1024 X 768. The new image sizer allows an image of 1024 x 1024 to be linked to an external source WITHOUT resizing it.
This is an image hosted on imgur with a resolution of 1280 x 722. Because of it's EXTERNAL size the image resizer has reduced it to 1024 x NNN. The yellow bar at the top allows you to see the original image at it's original image size by clicking on it. You don't have to use the yellow bar if you don;t want to see the ORIGINAL size.
Notice that both images are the same size and within the borders of the site, with the larger image providing the ability to see the original size.

Didn't I tell you to stop posting pictures of my security system?
Read the sign - PRIVATE PROPERTY...! When I can round up some more money - I'm going to add more fence. In the meantime, cut me some slack.

The image resizer is working just as it should. The image below is resized to 1024 x 1024.
I suggest if you still have an issue using your iPad, switch the site mode to "Mobile Style" and your issue will be resolved. How to do that is shown earlier in this thread.
