There is a small box under the Advanced Reply box labled 'Manage Attachments'. Click on that and follow instructions.

You can always just post a link from a photo server too.

Is there a limit on file size when upload?

Please forgive my ignorance, but every time I try to upload the picture...it failed. Could not think of any problem but my file size might be too large ?
Thanks.

The file sizes that are allowed are shown on the upload dialog when you select what type of file you are going to upload.

You'll have to look at your file and determine if it is under the limit. For example, the most common file uploaded is a jpeg.

The size limit for this type of file is 5.25MB. If your file exceeds that size it will fail to upload.

Can you tell us the type, file size, and dimensions of an image you are having trouble with?

Based on the info above I see no reason why it would not upload.

From the advanced Preview screen select the paperclip. A popup window will open.

Click on choose file. That will open your file browser, select the file you want to upload, return to the popup window.

You will see the name of the file just to the right of the "choose file" button. To the right of the file name you chose there is a button that says upload.

Press that and wait for the file to be sent to the site.

Now look below that space and you'll see the file attachment shown.

Scroll down to the bottom of the window and click close window.

Next (assuming that you have already written what you want in your post) click on the submit reply button.

I wrote these instructions step by step and did exactly what I explained. See my attachment?

Give it a try and let us know if you still have problems.

The very second that I hit the upload button, the upper left corner pop up the message showing the file name : "xxxxx.jgp" and "upload failed" without any explanation....what get me is: I did exact the same thing on two other forums and no problem at all...and I don't blame any body but myself..

Hmm...I see no reason why your image should not upload @haiauphixu, so there must be something glitchy going on. What device and browser are you using to access the site?

Cheers,

Erik

I have no idea what else I can do to assist you. Sorry.

You can always use a 3rd party picture host and use their bbcode to paste into your post rather than uploading to the site.

A few choices: www.imgur.com, www.tinypic.com, www.postimages.org
