Updating member state of residency

Looking for a little help re how to change my state of residence for my member profile. I could not find that category in the account settings page that pops up when you hit your avatar

Yeah, I went to user CP several times before posting this message but do not see an entry for state of residence. Birthdate, email, password, etc. there and editable - but no state catagory listed that I can see. I changed my time zone to the new residence, but that did not affect the state listed on my profile below my avatar

I answered your PM with instructions on how to accomplish the location change - not State of Residence - that doesn't exist.

when i'm in "edit details", i can see the selection for location.

He's overlooking that and seeking to find State of Residency instead of using the location field to update

I can’t see any “edit details” section. Under my avatar, it goes straight to email, password, etc.

Must be my CP is defective... 😮

You neglected to state that you are using mobile enhanced view. switch to Desktop View - then follow instructions above. It always helps to have all the facts

In Desktop View, locate the green menu ribbon that is on every page. Look for USER CP on the left side of the menu ribbon, click it, and you'll be at the starting point in the instructions above.

I can’t get it to exit enhanced mobile view. Stays there despite repeated attempts. Wonder if being on IPhone makes a difference? Can’t go to desktop view on my phone.

I will log onto my laptop later and change it there.

If you are in the enhanced mobile view in your iphone, select the drop down on the far left, Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page. Locate Exit Enhanced Mobile View - it's the last option in the list. Click on it - this will put it into Desktop View.

I just switched it back and forth on my iPhone. Works fine.
