Mark Item Sold

Hi, I sold an item in the classified section. How do I change the green "for sale" to the red "sold". I did it before but I don't remember how I did it. Thanks.

4. When your transaction is completed, be it a sell, buy or trade listing, we ask you to notify the SIG Talk staff of completion. You can do this by selecting the Report Post button, the yellow triangle with exclamation point in it, at the bottom left corner of the original post of the thread. Mark it as Sold and a staff member will close the thread.

Edit: apparently this is incorrect, I had just read this when the question came up. Sorry to create any confusion. See correct way to make an item sold below.

Go to your post, click the "Edit" button, then "Go Advanced". In front of the title you will see a dropdown that says "For Sale". Change it to"Sold" and hit save. Then go back to your post, click "Thread Tools" link at the top and then click the "Perform Action" button to close the thread.

Here's the link to the "how-to" - it's located in the Classified sticky section: https://sigtalk.com/classifieds/3947...sified-ad.html
