Pop up scam on ST

I have been hit twice in the last day with a pop up while on ST with a load beeping and notice all files on my computer are going to be deleted. there is a link to click.

DON'T CLICK IT

close that window and delete your history or specifically delete WIN ERRX 0007 in the history.

Wonder how it got on / into ST

It's not ST. They come from external links that are problems.

Pop-up blocker, AdBlock, Tracking Token Stripper, etc will prevent you from even seeing that stuff.

I've had the same problem here, the past couple of days... have been through this before, I delete the tab, and run my security program. Then reload sigtalk...

I access ST on two different PC's over two different networks, I've not seen that myself.

Been seeing this activity also. I get a notice from security software that it killed the attempt.
