I'm on a few gun forums, and they have all been hacked. I don't think it's a coincidence, call me paranoid but what better way to gather information on gun owners...just saying. I ain't scared.

I have a few I go to each that day that are not forums. Tracking history of the attacks are only from this site. Depending how long I am on here it tries multiple times some days.

Try installing AdBlock to see if that helps. Very likely it is one of the linked advertising sites causing the warning. Maybe you can track it down further with your AV software and block it that way too or configure it to just block but not warn you. Using Comcast Norton 360 Security software and Windows 10 I am not getting any warnings.

Ill just check the box to end the repeated notices of it happening. I am leaning towards the ad reasons also. Just have been trying for five days to pinpoint who it was when I have 7 or more browsers windows open.

I use Crome with ad block and no problem here.
Last week I had to sign on again with 3 units I have, so something was going on.

The canned message saying ST suggested I change passwords again.

But anyway.....

NSA NSA NSA FBI FBI FBI ATF ATF ATF

we have GUNS and know how to use them.........

As old as I am and as many I've bought I don't think they need to hack this site to see what I got.

The closest thing to a virus i have seen on this forum is the popup telling me that they will be changing my password even though it was changed weeks ago

I hate that i have to use adblock on sights like this, but I can 100% guarantee you it was from a banner ad, I have gotten viruses from banner ads on all sorts of forums and image boards.

The problem with them is that even the company that sells the ad space can't really police who or what the ads are.

Since I have used AdBlock on Chrome the speed of my internet browsing has at least tripled. Amazing how much garbage most websites want to load your browser with. However a few will block you (Forbes I believe did at least once) unless you disable AdBlock but I just say adios to those.
