Pro-Cut Slide: Recoil Reduction?

So I just picked up a P320 X-Carry 9mm in Coyote.

What does the "Pro-Cut Slide" provide? Recoil reduction due to gas porting? I'm not sure it's worth $400.

Also, do you think this 3.9" slide work with the X-Carry frame & barrel?

The side windows reduce slide weight for faster cycling and reduce recoil.

Porting the barrel to match the top port, will also help mediate muzzle rise.

Yes, a 3.9” barrel will work with an X-Carry frame & slide.

Actually the Pro-Cut slide weighs the same as the factory slide. The external milling was offset by less internal milling to maintain the same weight and functionality.

None of the milled openings are in an area that porting the barrel would be beneficial.

The Pro-Cut slide is purely cosmetic. Factory designated to maintain original factory function.
