X5 first vs Second Gen

Hi guys looking at two guns, one is first gen X5 competition and the other is X5 classic 2nd gen. One is about $500 cheaper than the other.

What are the differences and what would I be missing going with the cheaper option?

1- Which look do you like? Rail or no rail? Smooth lines or aggressive looking?
2- Comp has nonadjustable trigger. Classic has adjustable.
3- Comp has cheap plastic grips. Classic has nice wood.

the rail can host many accessories, if you're interested, if not, i personally like the look without the rail.

They both look good to me but adjustable trigger is something I would like to have, so it has to be the Classic.

I love them both, the first Gen to me is sexier, but no doubt between those two, my decision would be the one with the adjustable trigger.

Currently, you are at the sellers' mercy, due to the stupid panic plus SIG Germany shutting its doors permanently. Prices have shot up to ridiculous levels.

You made the right choice . My first X5 was an X5 Allround gen1. It was my most favorite Sig until I got my my X5 classic . The adjustable trigger makes a big difference in shooting experience.
