X5 Made in Germany and EXETER, NH

Are there any differences between the two?

On some it says P226 and Made in Germany

On others there is no "P226" and there is Exeter, NH and Made in Germany

The first ones are imported, and second ones are assembled in US?

To my knowledge there have been no X5's that were made anywhere but Germany. There have been some frames that were double marked that 12131 posted with some odd finish choices. Where Sig Sauer, the model, made in Germany, and the import mark is engraved depends on what time frame they were imported.

SIGARMS INC.
EXETER - NH

Is generally on the left side above the trigger pin on the frame or on the right side on the rib of the slide.

All Classic P-series X5's are made in Germany. I know most if not all Enhanced models don't actually have P226 stamped on them, they X-FIVE Stamped on the slide.

Yes, the one in question is a Classic E model, with no P226 stamped.

Thanks for your responses.

The only X5 made in SIG NH is the P320 model. All other X5/X6s are German made.
